Notification of major shareholding

Strategic Natural Resources PLC received notification on 8 August 2007 that the holding of The Tudor BVI Global Portfolio L.P. in the Company, at its admission to AIM which was on 7 August 2007, was 2,083,333 ordinary shares of 1p each, representing 3.205% of the issued share capital and voting rights of the Company.
