Strategic Natural Resources PLC (’SNR’), announces that it has been informed
that on 8 August 2007, Peter Richard Stephen Earl, Non-Executive Director of the
Company, purchased 10,000 ordinary shares in the Company at the price of 33p.

Following this purchase, Peter Richard Stephen Earl, is now interested in
3,460,000 ordinary shares, representing 5.32% of the Company’s total issued
share capital.
