Strategic Natural Resources PLC (’SNR’), announces that it has been informed that on 28 January 2008, Peter Richard Stephen Earl, Non-Executive Director of the Company, purchased 200,000 ordinary shares in the Company at the price of 31p.

Following this purchase, Peter Richard Stephen Earl, is now interested in 3,660,000 ordinary shares, representing 5.63% of the Company’s total issued share capital.
