Admission of Equity and Shareholdings

On 4 November 2009, Strategic Natural Resources PLC ("SNR" or the "Company") announced that 6,500,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company (the "Placing Shares") had been placed at 10p per share. The Board of SNR is pleased to announce that the Placing Shares have now been admitted to trading on AIM.
As a result of the placing of the Placing Shares, the investors set out below have acquired the following interests in the Company:

Coal of Africa Limited 3,500,000 4.67%
Caldwell Management AG 3,000,000 4.00%
*Total Issued Ordinary Share Capital of the Company
The total number of ordinary shares in the Company now in issue, including the Placing Shares, is 74,938,333.
